The inflatable water park is located on Lake Ciecere next to the beach in Brocēni. It is 4000m2 large and has more than 30 obstacles. Children must be over 6 years old to visit the water park. Children from 6 to 11 years old must be accompanied by their parent or guardian, and older children (12 to 16 years old) must present a written permission by their parent. The first cable wake park in Saldus municipality was created at the Sātiņi-Sesile water reservoir near Saldus town in 2022 and is now open for watersports enthusiasts of all skill levels. The cable is 180m long. Equipment for rent, including wetsuits. A skilled instructor will help beginners. Two rowing boats with electric motors and SUP boards are also available for rent.

At the beach in Brocēni you can not only enjoy peace and beautiful surroundings, but also various activities, as there are volleyball and basketball courts, a skatepark, a children’s playground and outdoor fitness equipment. There is a public swimming area, which has a floating dock, changing cabins, benches, a WC and video surveillance.

Rental in Saldus, offering water tourism equipment. Three SOT (sit-on-top) kayaks, one small SOT kayak, four SUP boards, one pedal boat, and one inflatable boat with a motor are currently available. The equipment can be rented hourly or daily. The price includes paddles, life jackets and seat cushions. Delivery is free of charge in Saldus and Brocēni. For other locations please call. Water equipment rental on Lake Ciecere, located in Brocēni town, next to the public swimming area, offering eight SUP boards – the set includes a combination paddle, a life jacket, a seat,  a waterproof bag and a pump. There are also two 2.5 seater kayaks (suitable for two adults and one child) and one fishing kayak.

Other recreational equipment rental: garden games 3 x 3 m (Circus, Riču-Raču) and a novus table, one BBQ grill (rental available only on site). Life jackets, waterproof storage bags (various sizes), as well as 12v compressors can be rented separately.

Hourly rental is offered only on Lake Ciecere. Free delivery in Brocēni and Saldus if the equipment is rented for a full day or longer.

PRICE LIST

Lake Saldus is situated near the town centre, between the hillfort and picturesque hills. The lake covers 11.9 hectares and has swimming areas for both adults and children. There is a boat ramp, a pier, a recreation area with playgrounds and a beach volleyball court. In summer, visitors can have a drink or a snack at the beach cafe “Bungalo”.

Rental of 6 SUP boards in the lakes in Saldus municipality. The instructor can teach you about safe use of SUP boards and give you some information about how to strengthen the deep core muscles on SUP boards.

Located near the public swimming area of Brocēni town, “Cieceres ūdensrozes” offers recreational water equipment rental – a boat, 2 SUP boards, a pedal boat, inflatable water walking ball, and also activities like motor boat rides (seating capacity – 4 passengers) , water skiing, and inflatable tube rides on Lake Ciecere.

Cafe “Mežavējš” offers boat rentals for boating trips on the Ciecere River and Pakuļi water reservoir. If arranged in advance, the staff of the cafe can prepare a generous picnic basket to take with you on the trip.

“Juku dzirnavas” recreation centre is located next to a millpond, which covers 5.5 hectares. Boat rental and fishing is available for visitors (free for staying guests).

“10 laivas” offers canoe rental and transport in Saldus municipality and in Kurzeme region.

Boat rental “Ievas” is located in Nīgrande parish, Kalni village, close to the Venta river. “Ievas” offers canoe and boat rental and transport to the chosen location.

Boat rental is available for boating in the water reservoir in Sātiņi, fishing is also possible.

The water reservoir is located in Lutriņi and Zirņi parishes. The average depth is 2.4m, but the maximum depth is 6.1 m. There are two islands in the lake. The society “Saldus Fishermen’s Club” organizes licenced fishing in the water reservoir. Zaņa fishing club offers boat rental and licenced fishing in the mill pond in Zaņa (22.6 hectares) all year round. Fishing planks are set up at the pond.
