In September, the annual “Saldus Taste Festival” will take place in Saldus municipality for the fifth time! This year it will last a whole week – from 5 to 11 September, and the theme this year is “Movies”.

14 places will have prepared special menus inspired by Latvian movies and movies from around the world:

• Café-Bar “Velve”

• Craft Brewery “Saldalus”
• Recreation Site “Ievas”
• SIA “Jaunmuižas labumi”
• Jaunauce manor and café “HOT Cafe”
• Society “Riekstkodis” and railway station “Airīte”

On Friday, the 9 September, there will be a 5th anniversary celebration of the festival at the open-air stage of Kalnsētas park in Saldus.

• At 7 pm – string ensemble “Madara”;
• At 8 pm – band “Musiqq”;
• 10 pm to 2 am – party with band “Zelta kniede” and DJ [Ex] da Bass

During the event, catering companies from Saldus municipality will surprise visitors with special offers and menus created specially for the festival.

The ticket price is 10 EUR for the first 1000 tickets. Then, until the 4 September, the tickets will cost 15 EUR, and during the week of the event – 20 EUR. Children 7 years and younger can attend free of charge (identification must be presented). Tickets for children from 8 to 14 years old cost 5 EUR (identification must be presented). For people with group 1 disability – 5 EUR.
