Solo Exhibition by Druvis Ābrams “Linocuts and Computer Graphics” at the Kapellers’ House
From October 23, a solo exhibition by Druvis Ābrams “Linocuts and Computer Graphics” can be viewed at the Kapellers’ House in Saldus.
About 100 years ago, a new printmaking technique was introduced into Latvian graphics, which allows to achieve a vivid artistic image effect.
“Art, according to my conviction, is not created only for the wise and privileged, but for all those who, according to their innate abilities and character, are receptive to art, are able to take in a work of art with their feelings, experience it, feel it, enjoy it and consume it.” These are thoughts that describe the artist’s feelings, and view of the world.
The exhibition will be displayed until November 30.
The Kapellers’ House is located at Striķu Street 7, Saldus. Working hours: Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (break 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.), Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (break 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.).
