This year, the hunters festival ‘’Minhauzens’’ will take place in Saldus municipality on August 2nd and 3rd in Remtes parish territory of ‘’Smuku Muiža’’.

Hunters festival ‘’Minhauzens 2024’’ will be held for 24th time.  This year, as always, Baron ‘’Minhauzens’’ himself with his lovely ‘’Jakobīne’’ will greet everyone.

Essential parts of the festival include campsite, festive market, and ‘’Mini Minhauzens’’, where the youngest participants can prove their strength.

On the second day, the Latvian Red Deer calling championship will take place, along with the hunting dog parade and demonstrations. Additionally, anyone interested can attend seminars organized by the Hunters school ‘’TAURS’’, where they will have the opportunity to learn interesting and relevant information about hunting.

This year, the ‘’Minhauzens’’ ball will feature performance from various bands, such as, “Dzelzs Vilks”, Ivo Fomins, “Apvedceļš” and “THE ORIGINALS”.
