Saldus Museum has received a new addition as part of the digitization project
Janis Rozentāls Saldus History and Art Museum has received a new addition to the exhibition dedicated to Janis Rozentāls as part of the digitization project!
From September 1st of this year, you can try a very special activity at the museum – adding your own drawn elements to Janis Rozentāls’s sketch “Saldus Castle Mound” made around 1900! Small or large – everyone can become a co-author, adding to the painter’s work in four zones: the sky, the surroundings, the hill and the meadow. The created artwork can also be saved on your device using a QR code. Come, let your imagination run wild and leave your mark on art!
The project is implemented with the support of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development within the framework of the “Initiatives that strengthen communities and promote local development” program.
Project location: Janis Rozentals Saldus History and Art Museum, Striķu Street 22, Saldus
Project implementation period: 01.08.2024 – 31.12.2025
Project No. 24-02-CL25-C0LA19.2201-000009
