Saldus isn’t just a place where the sweetest honey melts in your mouth and the enchanting “Saldus saule” (“The Sun of Saldus”) rocks; it’s where spirited individuals come together to celebrate sports! Join the locals as they not only embrace sports themselves but extend a warm invitation to active enthusiasts from nearby and far-flung locales.

The event was born in anticipation of Janis Rozentāls’ 150th birthday, showcasing Saldus as a haven where creativity meets athleticism, birthing unprecedented events and ideas that draw in active, creative, and sports-loving souls from all corners of Latvia.

In 2024 our race will break free from the conventional highway setting, venturing onto scenic trails for an exhilarating cross-country experience. We cordially invite you, your friends, family, and colleagues to partake in this adventure! Brace yourself for modified distances and an exciting new addition – the 20km challenge.
